Aquarius Casino Resort in Laughlin - Description
The Aquarius is one of the premiere resorts located on the Colorado River in Laughlin Nevada. With two towers and approximately 3000 rooms, it is the 
largest casino and resort in Laughlin. The resort has been through massive renovations in the last couple of years. First, the casino was completely remodeled with over 1300 new gaming machines and a top notch sports book and poker room. Over 26 million dollars was spent in the casino makeover, and it shows. After the completion of the casino the Aquarius tackled the large job of renovating the rooms in both 18 story towers. 20 million dollars was spent remodeling each and every room. Once that was done they tackled the pool and refurbished it and 
the surrounding deck, which by the way is on the third floor of the casino between the two towers. There are also tennis courts and a complete gym that is accessible from the third floor. If you book a Lanai room, it will be on the third floor and most have access to the pool deck through a sliding glass door from each room. The towers are positioned so that every room has a view of the river although some have more than others.
Vegas style gaming tables sit right in front of the new Outback restaurant. Next to the Outback restaurant is Laughlin’s only high end Italian restaurant, the Vineyard. They also renovated the 24 hour café and buffet while they were at it. There is even an open air restaurant in the heart of the river walk for those who enjoy dining outside. If it’s fast food you’re looking for there is a Burger King, Subway, and China Panda located on the casino floor.
The
resort also boasts a large convention room with over 30,000 square feet of space and a wedding chapel for those of you who wish to tie the knot in the casino or perhaps on the river in their private boat that is used for dinner cruises also.
Top notch entertainment is also available in a 3300 seat outdoor amphitheater. If you happen to be there in between concerts, there is also an indoor lounge called the Splash Cabaret where you can sit around and enjoy a drink in a relaxed atmosphere while enjoying top notch bands featuring a variety of music genres.

The Aquarius is one of my favorite places to stay in Laughlin. The rooms are very nice and include a flat screen TV and internet access. I have always found the service to be exceptional in every aspect of the resort. Suites are available which include a two room casino suite with wet bar, to a full blown suite with dining room, living room, wet bar and bedroom. A second separate bedroom is also available to the high end suites. The only drawback I can come up with is that there are no Jacuzzi rooms available in the entire casino and the pool is unheated. This is fine for the summer months but unbearable in the winter.
The casino itself is kept immaculate. The ceilings are high and the colors are vibrant and exciting. Service is great whether you are on the floor playing machines or at one of their many bars or restaurants throughout the casino. For those of you who play a little more than normal the Aquarius also offers casino hosts who will cater to your every whim.
The location of the casino is excellent. On the water’s edge, the river walk leads you to the Riverside Casino to the north and the Regency and Edgewater to the south. Directly across Casino Drive is the factory outlet mall which includes many fast food restaurants as well as a movie theatre. Valet services are located directly in front of the main entrance and right next to registration so you won’t have to walk far. They also have a five story parking structure that allows easy access into the side entrance of the casino. One other thing worth mentioning is the amount of security you will find at the Aquarius. It is everywhere. The parking structure is well lit and security patrols it on bicycles constantly. It makes you feel very secure when walking to and from your vehicle.

This Casino rates 9 out of 10 chips in my book. If you only go to Laughlin one time, I would suggest staying at the Aquarius.

All was clean and fresh. Check-in quick and easy. Without exception, encountered customer-friendly staff (hotel, casino and restaurants). We walked through other casinos and walked past their hotel sections and were VERY glad to be staying at the Aquarius. Almost didn't book here as we found some pretty nasty comments on line...but realized those comments were at least a few years old. The more current ratings were accurate. THIS IS THE PLACE in Laughlin.

My parents go to Las Vegas and Laughlin twice a year. Every time they go my Dad (David F) has a salad at the Cafe Aquarius. It has apples, different types of lettuces, raisins, walnuts, a sugar free dressing with Olive Oil, and different things. He says it is kind of like a Waldorf but not creamy like that. This is one of the few items he has found since he found out his is diabetic that he truly loves.
I have tried to find recipes like it and come up with my own - but he says it's just not quite there. I was wondering if there way any possible way I could get a copy of the recipe or at least the dressing. I promise I will not post it anywhere and share with anyone other than my dad. I would really love to be able to make it for him for Thanksgiving.

My husband and I have been going to Laughlin for the last 15 years. Our favorite casino has aways been the Aquarius/Flamingo, ect. This tells you how long we have been steady patrons. We love the casino, pool and updated rooms. We ALWAYS stay on the lanai deck(3rd floor with the view, patio door, pool ect).
Last year we got into our room and turned on the TV looking for the KENO channel. Imagine our suprise when we found out it was taken off, and only displayed in the KENO lounge! This is the reason we come to the Aquarius, Keno in the room, cold beer in the fridge in the room, the pool to walk to and the huge deck. We play hundreds of keno games at a time and love the idea of sunbathing and watching te games at the same time.
We have been assured that this will not be changing back to what it was, so sadly we will have to find another place to stay.
Aquarius has always been my 1st choice, and hate to give it up, but we come down for only this purpose.
Don't get me wrong, we still walk all over, play in other casions, drive and sightsee, and do play alot of table games, and slots. But our thing was to relax in the sun, swim and watch keno in the room.
