AVI Hotel & Casino in Laughlin - Description

The Avi Resort and Casino is located about 10 miles down the Colorado River from the rest of the casinos on Casino Drive. The casino sits on the southernmost point of Nevada, right where Nevada, Arizona, and California meet. The Avi has it all. They have 455 newly redecorated rooms including 29 spa suites, complete with free wireless internet. The casino itself has 35,000 sq.ft. of floor space with over 1,100 slots. They just finished redesigning the pool and it is fabulous. There is also a kid’s pool with an oversize Jacuzzi.

There is a beautiful lagoon, complete with a sandy beach and cabanas to enjoy the warm sunshine and cool water. The lagoon has calm water and a swimming area along with a boat launch ramp and fuel dock, allowing full access to the river.

There are plenty of other things to do if the river is not your thing. The Avi has a great golf course that is meticulously maintained with plenty of water hazards to keep you on your toes. If it’s too hot to golf there is an 8 plex movie theatre that can keep you cool and entertained.

Next to the golf course is an RV park with 260 spaces, that include water, power, cable, sewer, and WI FI internet available. 80% of the spaces are pull through and laundry and shower facilities are available.

Inside the casino are all the Vegas style gaming you could ask for, including plenty of table games, poker room, large Keno lounge, and a race and sports book. Tournaments are held regularly for many different games. For the adults there is the ArrowWeed Lounge which features live entertainment 6 nights a week and for the kids there is Kids Quest childcare and entertainment center.

You won’t go hungry at the Avi either. There are six restaurants to choose from. For casual fine dining there is the Moon Shadow Grille which features steak and seafood. Aviano’s serves up fine Italian cuisine and Feathers Café is open 24 hours with a great menu and many specials. The Native Harvest Buffet has something for everyone and if that is not enough, there is a food court. The food court contains a Panda Express, Sbarro Italian, Subway, and a Dreyer’s ice cream. If you’re on the beach you can get a cold drink and a snack at the Beach Club.

Different events are held at the Avi regularly in their many banquet and convention rooms. Meetings can be arranged and catered for groups from 25 to 900 people. Customized weddings are also available to fit any budget.

On the way out there is a gas station and convenience store complete with discount cigarettes and fireworks sold year round.
