Colorado Belle Hotel & Casino - Description
You can’t miss the Belle. It’s located right in the middle of Casino Drive on the river’s edge. The hotel and casino is shaped like a 19th century Mississippi paddlewheel riverboat. At over 600’ in length and over 6 decks high, the Colorado Belle is a sight to behold. The Belle has over 1100 rooms including 49 suites, many with spas in the rooms. The Belle has also built rooms outside of the “ship” to accommodate more people throughout the years. They have also added 2 heated pools separate from the main casinoalong with a large 14 person heated spa. The hotel also features a spa and salon, an arcade for the kids, and free valet service. The casino itself has been refurbished 
within the last two yearswith more than 950 all new slots and has over 65,000 square feet of gaming area. New carpet resides under your favorite Vegas style games including table games, keno lounge,live poker room, and a sports book. The Dixie River band performs on a stage at the entrance to the casino to keep you entertained while you hit the big one.
The Belle has just recently added a new fine Italian restaurant called, Mangia. Upstairs is Mark Twain’s, which serves chicken, ribs, and steaks. The Captains Buffet has an assortment of delectable delights and a fine view of the river also. The Paddlewheel restaurant is open 24 hours for your convenience. There is also a snack bar on the main casino floor as well as a candy shop located on the second floor near the gift shop. Krispy Kreme doughnuts are delivered fresh daily to start your morning off right.
The Boiler Room which was Laughlin’s only microbrewery is now back in business with a fresh new name and brewery license. After a year in limbo, the Colorado Belle has regained ownership of the Boiler Room and with it has once again started brewing their own beer. The new restaurant is called Pints and officially opened January 21st with a new menu and a new Brew master by the name of Marshall Redmond. The sports bar will brew five standard beers available year round including one that that will be seasonal, which Marshall calls his wild card brew. The other four brews will carry such names as ‘What The Puck’ pale ale, ‘Rehab Red’, an amber ale, ‘Jackass Stout’ and ‘Bodacious Blueberry’. They will still carry their most popular beer, their golden ale, simply called ‘Premium’. To go with the new opening the sports bar will feature 22 new flat screens and one huge screen at the bar. In addition Pints will include such games as billiards, darts and shuffleboard. They are keeping some of their old favorites though, such as the Sweet Sixteen, (a sixteen ounce T-bone steak and a 16 ounce draft beer) for $12.99 and Thirsty Thursday’s special which includes one dollar draft beers all day. In addition to the many new menu items, Pints will still have all of your old favorites including pizza, burgers, and wings as well as your favorite specialty sandwiches and live entertainment will be featured on the weekends.
For your Banquet or weddings the Mardi gras room has 3,390 sq.ft. of room with full service catering for any special event you have in mind. Complete weddings are available with a variety of services to fit any budget.

The casino is very nice, with plenty of open space and nice high ceilings. The food is excellent and the beer in the microbrewery is definitely worth trying. The rooms are in dire need of an update. I have heard rumors that the rooms are going to receive a makeover and it is long overdue.
Covered parking is also unavailable but there is a large parking area for your boat or RV. The good part is that there are a lot of good deals on rooms at both the Belle and the Edgewater. Both properties have the same owners and are doing their best to fill the seats in this bad economy.

REVIEW COMMENTS: FLY IN OUR DRINK! GROSS!!!
Review: My friend and I had escaped our little monsters for an evening. I promised her a dinner in appreciation for everything she has done for me. So I decided to take her to Laughlin's Colorado's Belle's restaurant, Pints Brewery.
From beginning to end, our experience was horrible. Not only did we consume unsanitary drinks, had horrible service, had a manager that didn't care, higher management that dodged our calls and responsibility since the incident but my friend ended up suffering explosive diarrhea from the food.
The night started off with my friend ordering a Jack and Coke. My friend was hesitant in telling me that there was something wrong because she's notorious for complaining at food establishments and she knew I wanted to have a good time. After she told me she found a fly in her drink I told her that she should definitely let a manager know. We asked the waitress, Wendy for a manager, and nothing. We had to ask the bus boy to get us a manager. A small, blonde lady named Jackie approached our table. After showing her the fly carcass on a napkin. She comped my friend's drink and had our forgotten side orders (ranch and cheese) brought to us. Wendy never checked on us to see if we needed anything else, she dropped off the check and walked off. My friend and I were very dissatisfied on how this situation was handled. We found a fly in our drink!! They could be shut down for this, they could have at least comped the whole meal. We asked for another manager. At first he could not be found, then it would take a while before he could come. After 30 minutes of waiting around like idiots we were told that he was in a meeting. At 8 pm at night, hmm? Right.
As we were getting in line to pay, Jackie yelled at us and said we couldn't leave with out paying. Not only did she embarrass us but she was treating us as if we were the criminals. They were the ones feeding us flies, now there's a crime. I paid the bill and left our numbers for a manager to call us. No call back. We called another day and talked to another person, again we left our numbers and no call back. We called again the next day and we reached Nelia, in Food and Beverages. She told us that she emailed the manager with our numbers.....guess what? Still no call back. We call again and speak to another person and she says she has never heard of Nelia, again we left our numbers, no call back. We both call Nelia back and got her voice mail. I left her a message and my friend called later and left another message. Again, we were ignored and she did not call us back. I have traveled and eaten at the nicest and not so nice restaurants but we have never been treated like this before. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and we will be calling the health department.
The lesson to be learned here is DO NOT GO TO THE COLORADO BELLE OR EDGEWATER CASINO IN LAUGHLIN.

Review: I am a visitor of the casino almost every week-end. The promo's are great except for one thing. I live 1 1/2 miles from the casino. To partake in some of the offers I need to book a room for the promo's. I'm also a Diamond member at Harrah's in Laughlin and get promo's but I don"t have to book a room. The promo's are what brings me back to play at your place. Oh I can book a room then check in and go home for the comfort of my own bed. Go back and check out the next day but this is a waste of time.
The poker machine, the nickle ones in the middle are outdated and the glare on them from the lights above is terrible. They need to be moved and updated. I moved here from Il.and we had newer machines. More fun to play. The one machine is called Extreme Poker. They had about 8 and you could hardly ever find one empty.
I know your in the business to made money but I'm there to have fun and win some money. Thank-You for letting me air my opinion.

P.S. We enjoy eating at all of your restanants, good food and friendly workers. You also need more Handicap parking spots in the parking lot due to the bus lanes and motorcycles.

The Restaurant,Captains Buffet, was very marginal. Food cold. Food over salted to the point of not edible. Over priced. Shall avoid next trip.
Next to Casion, the Edgewater, Cocos the absoulute worst. Service the worst. The Gallery Cafe good , except for very slow service.
House keeping at Colorado Belle very nice. Yes might be a little tired but so am I. We will return, but perhaps will find a better place to eat.

I have been a patron of the Colorado Belle Hotel and Casino for approx. 25yrs. I am writing this review to let everyone know that in my opinion I witnessed the Casino failing to pay a Jackpot for approx. $ 3,300.00. When the machine hit the Jackpot after about three or four seconds before any casino people could get to the machine to verify the payoff the machine lights flashed and then the reels on the machine began to turn slowly and would not stop. The casino manager was called and the machine was shut down, while the incident was investigated. An onlooker witnessed the whole thing from start to finish and provided his name and number in case more review was needed. After approx. 40 to 50 minutes the patron was called from his room to the machine. Upon arriving at the machine in question the machine was already turned back on and a slot mechanic was sitting in front of the machine. I still don't know why the machine was turned back on before the patron got back to machine to witness all that was going on. The casino manager, some security people, the slot mechanic, and a man who introduced himself as being from the state gaming control board were present when we arrived at the machine. After some introductions the machine was reset and the handle pulled and it hit three bars for a payout of 10 quarters. The patron who hit the jackpot was told that apparently the machine never finished its cycle and that he would not be paid the jackpot he hit due to a machine malfunction. When he asked to review the films to see what actually happend, he was told that unfortunately that particular machine was not under good surveilance and no good tape recording of the incident was available for review. As far as I'm concerned the patron was absolutely cheated out of a payout and I will never step foot in the Colorado Belle or the Edgewater Casino again as the two are under the same management. I would also warn anyone else thinking about visiting the Laughlin area to book anywhere except these two casinos.
